Companion planting is a gardening strategy that mimics the plant relationships found in nature to utilize garden space more efficiently, and manage pests, disease and weeds in a way you may have never thought possible. In this workshop, we will deep dive into the specifics of companion planting theory, observe naturally occurring companion guilds, and witness companion planting being used on the farm to maximize limited high-tunnel production areas. Participants will leave the farm with a basic working knowledge of how to incorporate companion planting into their own garden system.
